Champlin Park Volleyball Wins Conference Opener
The Champlin Park volleyball team swept Andover in its Northwest Suburban Conference opener Thursday.
The Rebels fell behind early in all three sets but rallied to win 25-20, 25-12, and 25-8.
Carly Gilk recorded 11 kills to lead the Rebels while Marlie Hanson and Lily Riese each finished with 10 kills. The Rebels also had 14 ace serves in the match.
Champlin Park (4-1) is ranked third in Class 4A and plays in the Southwest Minnesota Challenge in Marshall this weekend.
