Champlin Park Volleyball Takes Tournament Opener
The Champlin Park volleyball team won its state tournament opener Thursday.
The Rebels beat Moorhead 25-15, 25-17, 25-15 in the Class AAA quarterfinals.
It was a rematch of last year’s quarterfinal round.
Emma Schmidt had 12 kills, Lauren Clark 11 and Jordan Stalpes 10 to lead the Rebels.
Champlin Park faces Lakeville South in the semifinals Friday morning.
