Champlin Park Volleyball Set for State Tournament
The Champlin Park volleyball team survived a big scare in the Section 5AAAA final to advance to this week’s state tournament.
The Rebels lost the first two sets to Maple Grove before rallying to win in five sets to return to state for the first time the 2018 Rebels won the program’s only state title.
Champlin Park is the number two seed for the class AAAA tournament and they meet District 11 rival Anoka in the quarterfinals Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
