Champlin Park Volleyball On a Roll
The Champlin Park volleyball team is coming off a third place finish at last weekend’s super tough Apple Valley Invitational tournament.
The Rebels lost to eventual champion Marshall in the semifinals before bouncing back to beat Lakeville South for third.
Overall Champlin Park is 14-4 against a tough schedule and rated fourth in this week’s class AAAA poll.
They have a huge match Wednesday as they host top-ranked and defending state champion Wayzata.
The Trojans beat the Rebels in the Section 5AAAA championship match last season on the way to the state title.
Champlin Park lost to Wayzata in a tournament earlier this month, but did win a set against the Trojans.
