Champlin Park Volleyball Aiming High This Season
A veteran Champlin Park volleyball team is ranked number one in Class AAAA to start what should be a big season for the Rebels.
They’re led by Gopher recruit Carly Gilk, an outside hitter, along with setter Reese Axness and middle hitter Kathryn Adler.
After being eliminated by eventual state champion Wayzata in the Section 5AAAA final last season, the Rebels are hoping it’s their turn to advance to state.
Champlin Park opens the season August 22nd in a #1 vs. #2 match-up against Lakeville North.
