Champlin Park Girls Lacrosse Routs Spring Lake Park
The Champlin Park girls lacrosse team routed Spring Lake Park 19-1 Monday in the Rebels’ season opener.
Dayna Carlson and Megan Peter scored three goals each for the Rebels. Four other players scored two goals each and Camryn Mayer recorded a goal and a team-high five assists.
Like all spring sports teams, Champlin Park didn’t have a season in 2020 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Two years ago they finished with a 14-2 record.
The Rebels play their next Northwest Suburban Conference game Wednesday at Rogers.
