Champlin Park Girls Lacrosse Beats Elk River to Stay Unbeaten
The Champlin Park girls lacrosse team beat Elk River 12-4 to improve to 10-0 this season. The Rebels took a 4-0 lead after one quarter before Elk River battled back some to pull within 6-3 at halftime.
Champlin Park added four goals in the third to go up 10-4 on the way to the win.
Reese Hagenbart had six goals and Annabelle Johnson had four goals and two assists for Champlin Park. Rebels goalie Paige Hagenbart stopped nine of 13 shots in the win.
Champlin Park hosts Breck Wednesday and Blake Saturday before wrapping up the regular season with a key contest at Maple Grove next Wednesday.
