Champlin Park Football Team Loses to Rosemount
In a rematch of a playoff game from last season, Champlin Park’s football team lost to Rosemount 27-13.
The Irish jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and went up 20-0 at the half after two second quarter field goals.
Cade Fitzgerald threw a pair of second half touchdown passes for the Rebels but it wasn’t enough to overcome the big deficit.
The Rosemount defense held Champlin Park to just 94 yards rushing.
Champlin Park falls to 2-2 with the loss.
