Champlin Park Football Team Beats Blaine
The Champlin Park football team beat District 11 rival Blaine 28-17 to improve to 2-0.
After trailing 10-7 after one quarter, the Rebels outscored Blaine 14-0 in the second quarter.
Shawn Shipman carried the ball 39 times for 220 yards and two touchdowns for Champlin Park.
Quarterback Jaice Miller added 122 yards rushing and threw for two touchdowns.
The Rebels’ defense held Blaine to 34 yards rushing.
