Champlin Park Football Suffers First Loss
The Champlin Park football team suffered its first loss Friday, losing 35-20 to St. Michael-Albertville.
The first half went back and forth, with each team scoring two touchdowns and STMA taking a 14-13 lead.
The Knights scored the first two touchdowns of the second half to take control, then held off a Rebels rally.
Desean Phillips rushed for 259 yards and three touchdowns for the Knights.
Bennett Otto passed for 330 yards and three scores for the Rebels.
