Champlin Park Football Fired Up for Season
After a trip to the Prep Bowl last season, the players and coaches in the Champlin Park football program are fired up for the season.
Official practices started Monday for the Rebels and other local teams.
The Minnesota State High School League voted to begin a shortened season after earlier moving the season to spring 2021.
Champlin Park graduated some good players but they also return a strong group.
Running backs Shawn Shipman and Darius Givance will be one of the state’s top duos.
They’ll run behind a big and talented offensive line.
Four of the top five defensive backs also return for the Rebels.
Champlin Park opens the season against Centennial October 9th.
