Champlin Park Baseball Optimistic Heading into Season
The Champlin Park baseball team has a good returning group from last season as they prepare for the 2025 campaign.
The Rebels went out quickly in the Section 5AAAA tournament last season, but they did have summer success with the American Legion and VFW teams each reaching the state tournament.
Shortstop/pitcher Nick Carlson, a Concordia-St. Paul recruit, leads the returners for the Rebels.
First baseman/pitcher Kellan Oligmueller, second baseman Brockton Sandell, third baseman Max Janisch, and centerfielder Rhys George are among the other key returners.
The Rebels are slated to open the season Thursday at Rogers if weather/field conditions permit.
