Champlin Legion Baseball Tops Maple Grove 8-1
Champlin Post 600 scored five runs in the third inning on the way to an 8-1 win over Maple Grove Post 172 Thursday in North Hennepin League American Legion baseball.
Ty McGee hit a three-run homer and Paul Dylong added a two-run single for the Rebels in the third.
Nick Carlson was the winning pitcher for Champlin.
Connor Johnson drove in Ian Schock with Maple Grove’s only run in the fourth inning.
