CCX Sports Spotlight: 4 x 1000- Heritage Christian Boys Basketball
In this week’s CCX Sports Spotlight, John Jacobson profiles Heritage Christian Academy boys basketball players Owen Haag, Jonah Moulton, Josh Sokeye and Abu Tarawallie.
The four have each scored over 1000 career points and are just the second boys team in Minnesota basketball history to have four 1000 point scorers from the same class– Eden Prairie had four from the Class of 2020.
The seniors have started since midway through their freshman year and were part of an Eagles team that reached the state tournament last year. Heritage is currently 14-4 this season.
Sokeye (1333 points) was the first to reach 1K last season and joined this season by Haag (1208), Tarawallie (1181) and Moulton (1055).
