Big Night of Section Soccer Finals in NW Suburbs

It’s a big night of section soccer finals for teams in the northwest suburbs Tuesday.

Seven games involving teams from the CCX viewing area will decide spots in the state tournament.

The switch to three classes for soccer this fall opened up more opportunities, too.

The Park Center boys meet Mounds View for the Section 5AAA title. You can see tape-delayed coverage of that game on CCX Sports.

The Maple Grove girls face Mounds View for the Section 5AAA title and you can also see delayed coverage of that contest on CCX.

Wayzata and Hopkins meet in the Section 6AAA girls final.

Providence Academy’s boys team faces Southwest Christian at Delano High School in the Section 6A final.

The top-ranked Benilde-St. Margaret’s girls host Orono for the Section 5AA championship.

Totino-Grace’s girls team plays at Mahtomedi for the Section 4AA title.

Breck’s girls meet Cristo Rey Jesuit for the Section 5A title at Brooklyn Center High School.
