Benilde-St. Margaret’s Boys Lacrosse Routs Wayzata in Section 5
The top-ranked Benilde-St. Margaret’s boys lacrosse team scored six first quarter goals on the way to a 16-5 rout of Wayzata in the Section 5 semifinals Monday night.
Cam Gelling led the Red Knights in scoring with seven goals. Carsen Brandt tallied six assists in the game.
Benilde-St. Margaret’s (15-0), last year’s state champions, hosts Maple Grove (14-1) for the section title Wednesday at 7:00 pm.
