Updated Plans Emerge to Redevelop Dundee Nursery Site in Plymouth
Another step is expected to take place Tuesday in plans to redevelop the Dundee Nursery and Landscaping site in Plymouth.
The Plymouth City Council will vote on whether to sign off on a request by Commercial Investment Properties to receive $1.4 million in environmental cleanup funds. The funds would be distributed by Hennepin County, the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, and the Metropolitan Council.
According to a 172-page environmental assessment worksheet (EAW), the site along Highway 55 contains groundwater and soil contamination.
Updated project plans include a four-story apartment building totaling 210 units and a three-story, 70,000-square-foot medical office building. The plans also include reconfiguring the neighboring Plymouth Presbyterian Church property.
