Two Osseo School District Leaders Placed on Administrative Leave
Two leaders in the Osseo Area School District have been placed on leave.
School officials confirmed Tuesday that Assistant Superintendent Kelli Parpart is on administrative leave for a pending investigation.
Parpart has been in her current role for 11 years. Previously, she was principal at Park Center High School and Brooklyn Junior High School.
Meanwhile, Osseo Senior High Principal Sara Vernig is also on leave due to a pending investigation.
Vernig is the first female principal in the history of the high school. She was also a past principal of Maple Grove Senior High.
District officials say the investigations are not related to each other and are not criminal in nature.
Both officials went on leave starting June 9.
The district declined to comment further on either investigation citing data privacy law.
