Shots Fired in Apparent Brooklyn Park Road Rage Incident
Brooklyn Park police continue to investigate a shots-fired case in what officers believe was an apparent act of road rage.
The incident happened Sunday at 3:48 a.m. at the intersection of West Broadway and 93rd Avenues. According to police, one vehicle was traveling north on West Broadway when another vehicle traveling west on 93rd Avenue went through a stop light.
The driver with the right of way honked his horn. That’s when the driver of the other vehicle rolled down his window and fired about five shots.
The vehicle where the shots came from is described as Chevy Equinox, gunmetal gray in color. No one was injured and no damage was reported.
As of late Monday morning, police had not made any arrests. Any one with information is urged to contact the Brooklyn Park Police Department.
