Running Rivalry? Maple Grove Ties Plymouth in Twin Cities Marathon Finishers
More than 6,700 runners crossed the finish line at the Twin Cities Marathon this weekend. That included 328 runners in the CCX News coverage area.

That would be Plymouth and Maple Grove — tied with exactly 110 runners apiece.

Maple Grove Man Completes 711th Marathon
Among the runners who crossed the finish line was 63-year-old Thomas Perri of Maple Grove.
Perri completed his 711th marathon on Sunday. It was also his 216th marathon completed since his Stage 4 prostate cancer diagnosis five years ago.
