Robbinsdale Police Continue to Look for Driver That Struck Trick-or-Treater, Fled Scene
Robbinsdale police continue to look for the driver of a vehicle that struck a teenage boy out trick-or-treating Saturday night. According to police, officers responded to the 3600 block of Abbott Avenue North at 8:41 p.m. on Oct. 31. Police say the driver fled the scene.
Police learned that the boy was struck as he was exiting a vehicle to trick-or-treat. Officers spoke to several witnesses and learned the driver immediately fled the scene.
Robbinsdale Police Looking for Black Sports Car
Witnesses described the vehicle as possibly a black sports car, either a Maserati or of a similar profile, police said. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. Capt. Mike Coleman, a Robbinsdale police spokesperson, indicated the boy was “doing well.”
As of Tuesday, no arrests had been made in connection to the incident. The Robbinsdale Police Department is asking anyone with information about the hit-and-run incident to contact detectives at 763-531-1220.
