Public Input Sought on New Blue Line Extension Light Rail Route
After the original route for the Bottineau Light Rail line fell off track last summer, the Metropolitan Council is now asking for public input on a new route. There are listening sessions planned for February and a public survey recently released.
According to the Met Council, the survey helps identify potential destinations, community priorities and concerns and community engagement strategies to inform project decisions.
The two listening sessions are open to anyone. Project staff will share information about the changes, what to expect in 2021, and decision-making processes for identifying a new route.
Thursday, February 4, 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Friday, February 5, 12:00-1:00 p.m.
The listening sessions will be recorded and posted to the Blue Line website.
