Nestlé USA Closing Brooklyn Park Plant
Nestlé USA Inc. has announced it is closing its Brooklyn Park facility, resulting in 56 job cuts. The plant, located at 7130 Winnetka Ave. N., is used for cold storage and distribution.
The company is restructuring and exiting its direct-store-delivery business for pizza and ice cream. The cuts will occur through the holiday season starting Nov. 1. with the facility scheduled to close at the end of the year.
The Brooklyn Park facility was a part of Dreyer’s Ice Cream Co., a Nestlé subsidiary since 2002.
