Three in Custody After Shots Fired at Brooklyn Park’s Oak Grove Park
Three men are in custody after gunshots were fired at a Brooklyn Park park last weekend.
According to Brooklyn Park police, officers responded to a report of shots fired at Oak Grove Park at around 8 p.m. on Sunday, May 24. When they arrived on the scene, they found evidence of gunfire.
Inspector Matt Rabe said the gunshots were mainly in the parking lot and no one was injured.
Police arrested three adult suspects throughout the day on Wednesday, May 27. That came after officers executed several search warrants.
The suspects are currently being held at the Hennepin County Jail. They’re being held on enhanced charges of reckless discharge of a firearm in a park. Formal charges are pending.
