Moe123 Fund Awards Osseo District Students with $5K Scholarships
Students in the Osseo School District received some good news that will give them a head start on college expenses.
Eight students representing Park Center, Osseo and Maple Grove Senior High Schools were the lucky recipients of the Moe123 Scholarship.
The scholarship was established in 2019 by the family of Park Center Alumnus Mostafa Sarim, who died from the flu when he was 41 years old.
The 2021 recipients are:
- Kaj Tug Lee – Park Center Senior High School
- Minh Tong – Park Center Senior High School
- Charley Sawicky – Osseo Senior High
- Matia Hailie Solomon – Osseo Senior High
- Alanna Worrall – Osseo Senior High
- Christina Corniea – Osseo Senior High
- Sophia Blashack – Maple Grove Senior High
- Jenna Moseng – Maple Grove Senior High
Each of the eight Moe123 scholars received $5,000 to help pay for college tuition and expenses.
The scholarship fund has awarded $90,000 to Osseo students since its inception.
