I-94 Lane Closures Begin Sunday
A big road project will impact drivers traveling on Interstate Highway I-94 through Maple Grove starting Sunday night.
Eastbound I-94 will be reduced to two lanes, between Highway 101 in Rogers and Weaver Lake Road in Maple Grove.
The lane closures will happen every Sunday at 7 p.m. through Thursday at 5 a.m. They will last through early September. The closures will allow crews to add temporary lanes to help improve traffic flow for a larger I-94 construction project that starts next year.
Drivers will see similar lane closures and work on westbound I-94 starting in early September.
