Hotel-Style Apartments Open in Plymouth, ‘We’re Like No Other Hotel or Residential Offering in the Area’

There’s a new lodging option in Plymouth that accommodate guests for just a couple days to several months. Wichita, Kan.-based WaterWalk opened its first Minnesota offering off Bass Lake Road and Nathan Lane. Smiths Medical and Polaris Industries are two major companies located nearby.

“We’re like no other hotel or residential offering in the area,” said Mimi Oliver, CEO of WaterWalk International in a press release. “WaterWalk is the perfect addition to Plymouth’s robust suburban environment and our genuine hospitality and elevated guest experience is a great compliment to the warm hospitality known here in this area.”

The two-building, four-story complex features 153 rooms. Of those rooms, 75 are furnished like hotel suites. The rest are unfurnished, all-inclusive apartments. WaterWalk offers one, two and three-bedroom suites.

WaterWalk Caters to Business Professionals, Relocations and More

According to the hotel owners, WaterWalk is an appealing option for business professionals, relocations, traveling nurses, employees in training, students and interns.

Each suite offers a full kitchen with granite countertops, a full-size washer and dryer, and wood-style luxury vinyl flooring. All suites, both furnished hotel suites and unfurnished apartments, include all utilities, high-speed internet, and a TV package with premium channels. The furnished suites also receive breakfast groceries delivered weekly and housekeeping services. Pets are welcome throughout as well.

“We also wanted to provide amenities that guests would value whether staying a few days or several months,” said Robert Kirchoff, a Minnesota native who is one of the owners of the property. “In addition to all the amenities you already see at WaterWalk like the fitness center, coffee bar, gas grills, and fire pit, we added underground parking, bike racks, smartphone accessed package storage lockers, room access via smartphone, and a Butterfly guest access system that allows guests to provide access to delivery people and service providers through their smartphone.”
 
WaterWalk’s amenities include staff who are available to assist guests 24/7.

According to WaterWalk’s website, monthly rates start at $1,350 for a one-bedroom, one-bath unfurnished unit. The price of furnished units vary by length of stay.
