Former Plymouth City Council Member Jim Davis Dies
Former Plymouth City Council Member Jim Davis has died, city officials announced this week.
Davis passed away Jan. 4.
Plymouth Mayor Jeff Wosje announced the passing at Tuesday’s city council meeting. The Plymouth City Council observed a moment of silence in Davis’ honor.
Davis represented Ward 3 in southeast Plymouth from 2017 until he resigned last February for health reasons.
Before being elected to city council, Davis served for 10 years on the Plymouth Planning Commission. He also served on the city’s Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee for three years.
A celebration of life will be held at a future date to be announced in an upcoming obituary.
