UPDATE: Brooklyn Park Police Arrest Suspect Tied to St. Paul Homicide

Brooklyn Park police have announced the arrest of a suspect linked to the death of a woman in St. Paul. Jail records show a 42-year-old man from Brooklyn Park in police custody at the Hennepin County jail.
According to Brooklyn Park police, the suspect was arrested in St. Paul.
Suspect Arrested After Newly Discovered Evidence
The case started as a St. Paul homicide investigation, but involved authorities from Brooklyn Park.
On Monday, St. Paul and Brooklyn Park police detectives conducted a search warrant at a home in the 7500 block of Brunswick Avenue. Police say they found evidence at the home that links the death of a 36-year-old woman to her domestic partner.
According to police, the female victim was found deceased at a home in St. Paul on Sunday. The investigation led St. Paul officers to Brooklyn Park.
Homicide investigators were able to determine the victim found deceased on Sunday Feb. 21, in the city’s North End neighborhood, was assaulted the day before in Brooklyn Park, MN. Brooklyn Park Police Department will be taking the lead on this investigation.
