Cross Community Players Gala scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 24

Cross Community Players theater company is “Raising the Bar” (this year’s theme) at its annual gala next week. Cross Community Players’ goal is to improve its services as it celebrates 40 years in 2020. 

The gala takes place at the former Coldwater Creek space at the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes.

The makeover of the Shoppes’ streetscape is just about finished, and if you attend the gala, you’ll get a sneak peak at the new look.

“The theme of the gala is “Raising the Bar,” said Steve Eckes of Cross Community Players. “And what that means is we are doing our very best to improve our production with better lighting, better costuming and all that goes with a stage production.”

The event is Thursday, Oct. 24. Tickets are $25 and the festivities begin at 6 p.m. There will be food and entertainment.
