Brooklyn Park Woman Killed in Rollover Crash
A Brooklyn Park woman has died following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Brooklyn Center Sunday night.
The Minnesota State Patrol says Rachelle M. Al-Amin, 29, of Brooklyn Park, died at North Memorial Health Hospital from injuries sustained in the crash.
According to the incident report, Al-Amin was traveling on eastbound I-694 when she lost control on the ramp to southbound I-94 and crashed at about 7:30 p.m. Sunday. The 2007 Mazda5 vehicle Al-Amin was in rolled several times, ejecting her, the State Patrol said.
The road was dry at the time of the crash. It’s unclear what’s caused Al-Amin to lose control. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, Brooklyn Center Police and Fire Departments, and North Memorial Health EMS all responded to the incident.
