Brooklyn Park Police Investigate Shots Fired at Central Park
Brooklyn Park police are investigating a case of shots fired at one of its prominent parks.
Police responded at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday to Central Park, located in the 8400 block of Regent Avenue N., for reports of shots heard.
When officers arrived, they located evidence of gunfire near the entrance to the park and in the parking lot.
According to police, a witness observed shots fired in the parking lot. Police say a number of people were then observed running from the park and four vehicles seen leaving at a high rate of speed on southbound Regent Avenue N.
Police say they searched the park and a neighboring apartment complex, but did not find anyone injured.
