Brooklyn Park Police Arrest Men for Mail Theft, Find More than 150 Letters, Packages
Brooklyn Park police sent out a warning earlier this week to watch out for people stealing out of your mailbox. Early Thursday morning police arrested two people they think were the culprits.
Brooklyn Park police say someone reported a suspicious vehicle was driving around with people going through mailboxes in the Edinburgh neighborhood. Around 2:30 a.m., police discovered a car near Noble Avenue and Prestwick Parkway with more than 150 pieces of mail inside. This find included letters and small packages. Police say there was mail from 71 different addresses. They arrested two men, and are still investigating.
