Brooklyn Park Author Publishes Inspirational Book

Brooklyn Park author Michelle Perdue has published her own story in a book titled “Rise and Shine! How to Live a Life of Resilience and Perform at Your Potential.”

Perdue is a motivational speaker and hopes her book will encourage others.

“I always knew there was hope in my book and that’s what my book represents. It represents hope and inspiration, so I held on to that,” said Perdue.

The book contains stories about Perdue’s life. She calls it “an emotional roller coaster” of a book because of the variety of stories. Some will make you laugh; others will make you cry.

Perdue hopes her book inspires people to discover the greatness within themselves.

“I want them to realize they have it within them to overcome so many obstacles, but unfortunately we as human beings, we forget to realize how powerful we are,” said Perdue. “So I want to remind my readers, you have what it takes.”
