Brooklyn Center Man Found Dead in Minneapolis Pond
Authorities have identified a Brooklyn Center man who rescue crews found dead in a Minneapolis pond.
The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office dive team recovered the body of Charles Foreman, 31, on Sunday night. He was found dead in the Loring Park pond.
According to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, the cause and circumstances surrounding Foreman’s death remain under investigation.
Foreman was one of three men to die in water-related incidents in Minnesota over Memorial Day weekend.
Relatives of Foreman set up a GoFundMe page to help cover burial expenses.
“Our brother was loved by many,” the post read. “He also had a passion for family and music. We are at a lost for words as this was very unexpected.”
