Boston Scientific Acquires British-based BTG for $4.3 Billion
Maple Grove’s largest employer is expected to get even larger. Boston Scientific announced it has acquired British health care company BTG. The deal totaled $4.3 billion.
The acquisition will help Boston Scientific expand its treatment options for cancer. BTG makes minimally invasive products for treating liver and kidney cancers.
Boston Scientific expects to add jobs in Minnesota through the deal. It’s currently about to start construction on an addition to its Maple Grove campus.
