Area Stores Close Early, Metro Transit Halts Service Before Night of Protests
As protests are expected to resume across the Twin Cities due to death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, the list of businesses closing early has grown quickly. CCX News has compiled a list of stores closing early in the northwest suburbs. Here’s a small sampling:

- Shingle Creek Crossing shopping center stores in Brooklyn Center
- Brooklyn Park Cub Foods (West Broadway location)
- Brooklyn Park Walmart store on County Road 81.
- Brooklyn Park Target (West Broadway)
- Crystal Holiday gas station and convenience store on 81
- Crystal Aldi
- Metro Transit halted all services at 4 p.m.
