Addition of Daiso Raises Parking Concerns at Crystal Strip Mall
A popular new store in Crystal has led to concerns about parking.
Daiso opened to considerable fanfare April 12 at Crystal Town Center.
The strip mall, located near West Broadway and Bass Lake Road, is also home to several other businesses, including an ALDI grocery store.
Customers have since taken to social media to complain about parking.
However, Crystal city officials say the mall has 277 parking stalls, which is more than the 249 required by city code.
Many of those spaces are located behind the building, so if spaces in the front are occupied, the city encourages people to check in the back.

An aerial view of the Crystal Town Center strip mall shows the available parking stalls to the north and east of the building.
