Robbinsdale Mayor Encourages Public to Learn More About Possible Hospital Merger

Robbinsdale residents can learn more about the possible impacts of a proposed healthcare merger between Sanford Health and North Memorial Health, which operates a hospital in the city.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison will host a community meeting in the city on Monday, June 8, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Elim Lutheran Church.

Mayor Brad Sutton encourages everyone to attend.

“Sounds like this could be a good thing for the hospital, but there’s, naturally, there’s downsides and there’s upsides,” said Mayor Sutton during an on-location production of Mayor’s Minutes with CCX Media’s Dave Kiser last month at The Birdhouse in downtown Robbinsdale. “Hopefully people show up for that and want to participate because that’s a pretty significant part of the Robbinsdale fabric.”
