West Lutheran Baseball Takes Down Heritage Christian Academy, Claims MCAA Title
The West Lutheran baseball team came back to beat Heritage Christian Academy 9-7 and in doing so, secured the MCAA regular season title.
The Warriors had to rally from a deficit twice against the Eagles. Preston Rouen’s sacrifice fly to left field was one of five runs the Warriors scored in the third inning to take a 5-2 lead.
Then after HCA rallied and took the lead, West Lutheran answered in the fifth inning with a 2-RBI triple from Carter Anderson.
With the win, the Warriors have now won nine in a row and are 13-2 on the season. Heritage drops to 12-6.
