Wayzata Volleyball Unbeaten, Ranked # 1
It’s a perfect start to the season for the Wayzata volleyball team this fall. The Trojans are ranked number one in the state in Class AAAA and carry a 10-0 record into this week.
The Trojans also have not lost a set in any of their matches.
Wayzata won the 32-team Southwest Challenge in Marshall two weekends ago. The Trojans have entered the event every year since 2006 (there was no tournament held in 2020) and this is their first championship.
Wayzata begins Lake Conference play this week with matches against Edina and St. Michael-Albertville.
The Trojans have won 36 straight matches, dating back to October 2019.
