Wayzata Volleyball Team Wins State Title
The Wayzata volleyball team capped off a great season by winning a championship.
The Trojans beat Eagan in an epic five-set battle for the Class AAA title.
Wayzata won 25-20, 14-25, 25-21, 19-25, 16-14.
It’s the first state championship in volleyball for Wayzata.
The Trojans finished second in 2009 and 2010.
It was also the first loss of the season for Eagan.
