Wayzata Volleyball Team Wins Section Final
The Wayzata volleyball team won the Section 5AAA title Thursday night.
The Trojans beat St. Michael-Albertville 25-19, 28-26, 25-13 to take the title.
It’s Wayzata’s seventh trip to the state tournament and first since 2010.
Seeding for the state tournament takes place over the weekend.
The tournament starts Thursday November 7th at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
