Wayzata Volleyball Sweeps Rogers in State Semifinals
The Wayzata volleyball team swept Rogers in the state class AAAA semifinals to advance to Saturday’s championship match.
The Trojans had to rally late to take the first set 25-23.
They won the second and third sets without much trouble, winning 25-11 and 25-15.
Top seed Wayzata now meets third seed East Ridge for the state championship in class AAAA Saturday night at 7:00 at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul.
