Wayzata Volleyball Loaded With Talent Again in 2021
The Wayzata volleyball team is coming off a pandemic-shortened, but undefeated, season in 2020.
With many of the same players back, the Trojans expect big things again in 2021. It’s a tall and talented deep that could play late into the post-season.
Wayzata finished last year with a 13-0 record and return Stella Swenson, Ella Voegele, Katy Riviere, Emma Goerger, Mel Goldstein and Sierra Moore among others.
Sophomore hitter and returning starter Olivia Swenson however will miss the season with an injury.
The Trojans open their schedule at home August 26th against Maple Grove.
