Wayzata Tops Osseo in Sub-State 11 Legion Baseball Final
The Wayzata American Legion baseball team defeated Osseo 8-6 in the Sub-State 11 Championship.
The Wizards scored the first six runs of the game before Osseo rallied back by scoring five runs in the fourth.
Wayzata never gave up the lead though and Jake Berkland earned a save to punch the Wizards’ ticket to the Division I Legion State Tournament.
Wayzata will open the state tournament on Thursday vs. Sartell at 10:30 AM on Hudson Field in Rochester.
