Wayzata Runners Win at Lake Conference Cross Country
Wayzata runners won the girls and boys races at the Lake Conference cross country championships Thursday.
Freshman Abbey Nechanicky raced to the win in the girls competition, with a time of 18:09.30.
Sydney Drevlow of Hopkins, a 7th grader, placed third.
Wayzata’s girls finished second as a team.
Shuayb Hussein of Wayzata won the boys race in a time of 16:04.40.
Hopkins placed third and Wayzata fourth in the boys team competition.
