Wayzata Named “Best All-Around High School Sports Program” in U.S.
Wayzata High School’s athletic teams enjoyed a great deal of success in the 2022-23 school year. Trojans’ teams won six state championships last school year.
That, combined with high-place finishes at state by other Trojans teams plus national rankings, earned the school the title “Best All-Around High School Sports Program” (in the country) from the national prep sports website MaxPreps.
Wayzata teams won state titles in 2022-23 in boys and girls cross country, boys soccer, volleyball, boys basketball, and boys tennis.
It is the first time that Wayzata has won the Max Preps Cup.
