Wayzata Girls Tennis Beats Benilde-St. Margaret’s
The Wayzata girls tennis team beat visiting Benilde-St. Margaret’s 6-1 Monday afternoon.
The Trojans swept the doubles matches and won in straight sets at first, second, and third singles on the way to the win.
Benilde’s lone win came in the number four singles match as Lucia Hoyt pulled out a tiebreaker after splitting two sets with Joy Zhou.
The number two doubles match also required a tiebreaker as Wayzata’s Isabelle Epshteyn and Elyse James defeated Maggie Graczyk and Shale Hornig.
