Wayzata Edges STMA in Section Girls Tennis
Top seed Wayzata edged St. Michael-Albertville 4-3 in the Section 5AA girls tennis semifinals.
The teams split the four singles matches, with Wayzata winning at first and third singles.
The Trojans won two of three doubles matches to escape with the win.
Wayzata plays the winner of Tuesday’s Maple Grove-Delano semifinal Thursday for the title.
